Refund policy

  • A student withdraws: no refund.
  • Payment not made in time: nothing to refund; the registration lapses.
  • Payment arrives after registration closes (Sat 2 Jan 2027, 23:59 SGT): refunded in full; this isn't treated as a withdrawal.
  • Not chosen as a finalist: not a refund case. The fee covers screening, Demo Weekend entry, student lunch and certificates for every student, finalist or not.
  • We cancel the event: full refund of the fee paid.
  • We postpone the event: choose to keep your place for the new date, or take a full refund.
  • A finalist team can't attend: no refund. The project can still be shown online, unranked, and certificates are still sent.
  • Disqualified for a serious breach: no refund.

How refunds work

When a change happens, we'll email you how to request a refund and how long it takes. We aim to refund within 14 days of receiving what we need. Refunds go back to the original payment method and are limited to the fee paid. We don't cover travel or other costs.
